Trish is seen here modeling her beautiful tunic.

The yarn (wool) was purchased from DEA Yarns It is 53% merino and 47% acrylic

4ply knitted on 6mm needles. There were 100 stitches on the front and 100 stitches on the back, which became the total length.

Trish knitted the first pattern size which was far too long for her, so it was all unpicked and re-knitted.

The smaller size is a much better fit. The sleeves were knitted from the top down and then finished with a single crochet, around the wrist and a single crochet around the hem. An Icord was knitted around the neckline.

Trish said the tunic was interesting to make, so light and soft, and that she would get a lot of wear out of it.

AFTER THE WORK WAS COMPLETED THE GARMENT WAS WASHED ON A GENTLE WASHING MACHINE SETTING TO ENABLE THE HEM TO DROP AND TO OPEN UP THE FLAIR.

Lynette had knitted this little cotton baby dress.

Helen has been busy knitting little bears for the guild to sell, Lynette knitted her winter slippers and Wendy has knitted little lambs.
