Just as I was thinking about selling my loom, a group of weavers at our guild decided to set up a dedicated weaving group within our guild. We all got together and decisions were made about how often and where to meet. All of a sudden we were seeing each other’s work and discussing our projects. As a newish weaver, suddenly I found myself inspired by the group. I found answers to my questions, and encouragement to just DO it. The fears that had held me back……cutting and sewing my weaving…..were dealt with. I have loved this journey and am really looking forward to the possibilities ahead. I would never have made a garment without this amazing group.
