Looking back on the spin-in

As usual, each photo should enlarge if clicked on.

How lovely it was to hold our spin-in at last, after a 2-year gap! Everyone enjoyed catching up with old friends, to say nothing of finding the traders very tempting . . .

There was a Tree Mendous activity –

– where people created lovely decorations for the “Tree”:

The Fashion Parade, as always, was popular. Just look at that intent crowd!

Here are a few more of the many highlights.

(In case you are wondering, the astonishing creation on the right is (a pair of?) boots made a while ago by Noelene for an exhibition. They are no use for walking, as a protest against productive farms being converted to pine plantations. For more on them, see here.)

Did you notice the tiny sparkles?

And finally, two beautiful garments made of felt by young friends of Patrizia –

On her way home, Karen took this photo of “a rainbow to top off our marvellous day.”
